This cairn, the easternmost of two on South Knock Hill, is 19 paces in diameter with a small cairn on the top.

J Smith 1895

Situated on the N edge of a prominent ridge is a large, irregularly shaped cairn, measuring 19.0m E-W by 15.0m transversely, excluding obvious spread. It is 1.8m high excluding the modern cairn on top. It has no other features visible.
