(Location cited as NS 270 413). Stevenston Station, rebuilt c 1900 by the Glasgow and South Western Railway. A 2-platform through station, with the main offices in a single-storey building on the up platform, of stone and harl, with wooden trimming and a bracketted steel-framed glaze awning. There is a wooden shelter on the down platform with an awning supported on cast-iron brackets. A lattice-girder footbridge links the platform, and supplements the level crossing at the west end of the station.
