A branch of the Kennedy family settled on the Girvan Water during the reign of David II and erected a tower, which was removed more than 30 years ago (pre-1856).
Name Book 1856
No remains of the tower are to be seen. The site now lies beneath a carriage drive. There are a few stones lying about, but no dressed masonry.
