Captain's Bridge, Drummochreen NS 285 035 NS20SE

This oval dun, which occupies the summit of a knoll immediately SE of Captain's Bridge, measures 11 m by at least 8m internally. On the NW the wall has been destroyed by a quarry, but elsewhere it can be traced as a band of rubble up to 3.6m thick; there are numerous outer facing-stones visible on the SE.

RCAHMS 1983, visited September 1982
