Field Visit (May 1987)
The isolated knoll 200m SSE of Invernoaden may have been the site of a small stone-walled fort measuring some 28m by 26m overall. What appears to be a band of stony debris interrupted by the trenches of stone-robbers can be seen around the perimeter of the summit, but even these slight traces have been disturbed during the construction of a modern memorial to John Lauder and its plinth.
