Kilbride, Dunoon: There must have been a church here though nothing remains. The name suggests an 11th or 12th century foundation. Holy Trinity Chruch (NS 1653 7645) may be on the site of an earlier building.
M Paterson 1970
There is no evidence of any earlier building preceding Holy Trinity Church.
Visited by OS (IA) 8 March 1973
Architects: John Henderson 1850 (and Rectory)

NMRS REFERENCE: The Record also holds a scrapbook showing a plan for a proposed chapel at Holy Trinity. NBR notes that it is an engraving which can be found on p.53 but could not be located at time of upgrade, 15.3.2000
