A township comprising seventeen roofed buildings, five partially roofed buildings, four of which are annotated as ruins, twelve unroofed buildings, which are annotated as Ruins, and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 23). Further lengths of head-dyke to the S may also be associated with this site.

Nine roofed, one partially roofed and twelve unroofed building are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
