Archaeology Notes

NR79NE 5 7521 9711.

(NR 753 972) The remains of two low turf walls, 6' long by 2' wide and 4' apart, oriented NE-SW, are situated on flat ground on the E of Eilean na Cille, above the N end of the anchorage inside the reef.

M Campbell and M Sandeman 1964.

Miss Campbell (1964) is probably referring to two parallel grass-covered spines of rock at NR 7521 9711. Similar strata covers the island and no artificial structures could be located.

Visited by OS (DWR) 3 May 1973.
