Archaeology Notes

NR77NW 8 7399 7605.

(Name: NR 7400 7605) An Dun: Low rock ridge near sea. Almost certainly footings traceable all round, especially at N. Too faint to measure.

M Campbell and M Sandeman 1964.

NR 7399 7605: The rock slabs lying around the summit of this knoll occur naturally in this area. There is no evidence to suggest that they were used as grounders for a wall. Not an antiquity.

Visited by OS (DWR) 18 June 1973.
