The name "Achaduie" applies to ruins situated at the NE end of Glengarrisdale about 1/2mile N of Cnoc na Teangaidh.

Name Book 1878

Ruins still visible April 1961.

Information from F Celoria, 1962.

Achaduie (name verified), a deserted settlement comprising a house, 13.0m by 3.0m internally, with attached kailyard, six smaller buildings or byres average size 6.0m by 3.0m internally, and one or two stock enclosures. The settlement is situated towards the north end of an area of lazy bed cultivatiion occupying about four hectares of a valley bottom. The date of desertion is not known.

This township comprising three unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1881, sheet cxlvii). Four unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1981).
