NR65SE 8 659 541

NR 659 541 Flint implements were found by Angus MacNeill, Kinerarach, after deep ploughing of previously uncultivated field west of Cnoc nan Gobhar.

They consisted of a broken flint axehead, found in April 1960, and two large worked flints, one (No 4/61 in R E MacCallum's TS) Neolithic, and the other (No 5/61) Mesolithic (information from R B K Stevenson, National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland [NMAS]).
