OS 6" map, (1924)
A prominent standing stone situated close to the E side of the public road. Known as "The Druids' Stone", it measures 0.9m by 0.41m at the base, and rises to a height of 2.34m; the longer axis is aligned N and S. It now leans considerably out of the vertical towards the E and, due to the weathering of a natural fissure, the top is divided into two peaks by a deep indentation.
