(NR 6903 4027) Dunan Muasdale (Fort) (NR).

OS 6" map, (1924)

Dun, Dunan Muasdale. On a rocky knoll at a height of 90m OD, there is an almost circular dun measuring 13.5m by 12m internally. The wall has consisted of a core of stones faced on either side with massive boulders, and has measured 4m in thickness. The position of the entrance is not apparent.

RCAHMS 1971, visited 1960.

Dunan Muasdale (name verified) is as described and planned by RCAHMS.

Surveyed at 1:2500.

Field Visit (10 June 1943)
