OS 6" map, (1924)

On a flat-topped rocky promontory which rises some 5m above the shore, there are the slight remains of a dun measuring about 17m by 12m internally. The wall has completely vanished on the E., and is elsewhere represented only by intermittent stretches of a low stony bank in which a few outer facing-stones can be seen on the N and W. The entrance is, however, still recognisable on the W side, the passage being 1.8m in width. The interior, which is covered with heather and coarse grass, is featureless.

RCAHMS 1971.

The dun is as described and planned by RCAHMS.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.

Visited by OS (J B) 20 November 1978.
