A quoiting ground is visible on an Aerofilms oblique air photograph SPW040414 (flown 1932). The quoiting ground lies at the SW corner of the football pitch and only the four pairs clay pits are visible on the images. A newspaper article in the Dundee Courier dated 23 September 1912, describes a game at the new quoiting ground at Gardiners Park.
