(NR 5387 7128) Standing Stone
Information from RCAHMS to OS.
This stone is at the edge of a field at NR 5387 7130. It is an irregular block tapering to a point, and measures 1.5m high, 1.5m wide at ground level, and approximately 0.7m thick. It was possibly erected in antiquity, but it is dissimilar to the usual slab-like standing stones on Jura.
Surveyed at 1/10,000.

Field Visit (June 1975)
NR 538 713. About 100m NNW of Leargybreck Free Church [NR57SW 6] there is a small upright stone that may be of prehistoric date. Aligned NE and SW, it measures 1.4m in height and 1.8m by 0.9m at the base, and tapers to a pointed top.
