Archaeological Evaluation (11 March 2024 - 5 April 2024)

NT 30227 63895 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken. Five mineshafts were identified along with two areas of spoil associated with mining activity. Two small square pits and four linear features along with a number of agricultural features, rig and furrow cultivation marks, modern plough scars and field drains were recorded during the course of the work.
