This standing stone measures 9ft 6ins in height, 1ft 10ins to 1ft 3ins in width, tapering to a point, and some 9ins in thickness. A second stone, about 9ft long and 2ft wide, lies some 6 1/2ft to the WSW.

Field Visit (May 1975)
N 507 637. A standing and a fallen stone are visible in the area known a Achadh na Lice 650m SSE of Strone. The upright stone is 3m high, measures 1.7m in girth at its base and has straight side and a pointed top. The recumbent, situated 2m to the NW, is 2.65m long, 0.65m broad and at least 0.3m thick; when erect, what is now its W end was probably the base.
