(Approx: NR 466 517) The remains of hut circles were noted (information from Mr D MacKechnie) on the shore, on the Ardmore (S) side of the Kintour River.

There are no traces of hut circles in the area noted above. There are, however, several ruined field walls and a number of large mounds of cleared stones all of a probable 18th-19th century origin.
