NR38NE 6 3605 8857.

(Area NR 362 885 ) Kitchen-midden discovered 1971. (Probably Medieval - see NR38NE 12).

P Mellars and S Payne 1971

NR 3605 8857: A grass-covered shell mound, measuring 30.0m E-W by 20.0m and up to 1.8m high. The excavation trenches have been backfilled.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS (DWR) 18 April 1974.
