(NR 3668 7016) Possible Cairn.
Information from RCAHMS.
On a hill summit is a loose spread of fragmented stone surmounted by a modern cairn, 1.3m high by 2.3m diameter. This stony spread measures 11.0m NE-SW by 7.0m transversely by 0.4m high and is partly heather-covered; living rock shows in the content and the SE edge lies along rock outcrop. There are no traces of a kerb or cist. A prehistoric origin is highly unlikely and it is probably natural.
Modern cairn surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (JM) 20 June 1978.
Field Visit (April 1977)
NR 366 701. On the rocky summit of Tais Bheinn (266m OD), surmounted by a modern marker-cairn, there is a heather-covered mound of stones measuring 8.9m by 7.6m and 0.5m high, which may be a prehistoric burial-cairn.
