Eight turf-covered shieling footings oval to sub-oval on plan. The average dimension is 3.5 by 4.5m one adopts a pronounced mound that is undoubtedly the accrued residue, of preceeding shieling(s). Also a rectangular enclosure measuring 8.0 by 5.0m over a bare stone wall 0.6m thick and standing 0.6m high.

Two unroofed shieling-huts and what may be a third ajoining that to the SW are depicted on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1882, sheet cxcvii). One unroofed building and eight black dots indicating the location of buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1981).
