OS 6" map, Argyllshire, 2nd ed., (1900)

This large block of conglomerate stands in pasture field about 1/4 mile N of Baile Tarbhach. It is about 5ft high and 3ft in diamter.

Name Book 1878.

An erect slab measuring 1.2m wide by 0.5m thick and standing 1.6m high. The broad face is aligned E-W.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.

Visited by OS (J M) 4 June 1978.

Field Visit (April 1977)

NR 363 676. This irregularly shaped stone stands on the tip of a slight terrace 230m NE of Baile Tharbhach. It measures 1.2m by 0.5m at the base and 1.6m in height with its longer axis running E and W.
