Manuscript annotations on an RCAHMS working map indicate two long ranges of drystone construction and built from rounded bloulders; also a kiln. To the N there is a 'cairnfield'.

(Undated) annotation on RCAHMS working map.

Two partially roofed buildings, one of which is a long building, one enclosure, an "Old Limekiln" and a field-system are depicted on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1882, sheet ccxxxii). Two unroofed buildings, one enclosure, a disused kiln and the fragmentary remains of the field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1981).
