This estate stable building, now in use as a bothy, is situated by a ford over the Allt Scheicheachan in Glen Bruar, 2.5km S of Bruar Lodge (NN 8323 7613) and about 8km from the public road at the Old Bridge of Tilt.
A roofed building, which is annotated ‘Bothy’, is depicted at this location on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire and Clackmannan, sheet xii.sw, 1900).
