Aerial Photographic Interpretation (19 January 2023)

The remains of this township are situated on the SE flank of Druim Fuar, immediately N of Balimore farmstead. They are recorded on an oblique aerial photograph (HESAP 2022) and comprise the unroofed remains of at least five buildings, enclosures and field walls. A township comprising six roofed buildings and four enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1873, Sheet cxc).
