Archaeology Notes

(Location cited as NO 910 057). Smithy, Cammachmore, early 19th century. Two 1-storey rubble buildings facing each other across a minor road. Both are roofed with corrugated iron. An interesting single-ended punching and shearing machine stands outside the northern building.

J R Hume 1977.
