NO99NW 20 c. 93 97.

In 1521, probably at Findon, 2 urns were found 'with letters ingravit full of brint powder'. When they were handled they disintegrated. They were part of 'ane ancient sepulture'.

No further information was found during field investigation.

Visited by OS November 1961.

In 1521 what were probably two urns containing cremations were found in an 'ancient sepulture' near Findon.
