The Pillbox Study Group report that anti glider ditches are visible on a RAF vertical air photograph M/024/H21 6024 (flown 16 February 1942) on the golf course. It comprises a long narrow ditch running NNE-SSW and a small branch running to the WNW. There are regular spaced upcast mounds on either side of the ditches.
