Location Notes: This panel lies in an area of rough grazing on a SE facing slope, 800m uphill from from the River Sgitheach. From the site you can see the Cromarty Firth and the N and S, Sutors to the E and Cioch Mhor to the NW. It lies equidistant (50m) from two water channels which run N to S. A fence line runs in an W to E direction approximately 150m upslope. It is situated 50m S of the cupmarked rock Balnacrae Upper, and 600m upslope from Strath Sgitheach farmstead where there is another cup marked rock at NH 53199 63812 (Canmore ID 12948, ScRAP ID 2115).
Panel Notes: This panel is roughly rectangular with a rounded E edge and a flat upper surface. It measures 1.6 x0.9m and rises to a height of 0.5m above ground level. The upper surface is mainly smooth with a fissure at its E edge and a weathered channel on the W edge. It has 22 cup marks spaced in an even spread across the surface, avoiding the fissure where the rock begins to slope downwards.
