Location Notes: The panel is located on the side of a hill that slopes from the S to the NW. To the W are two terraced fields. To the E of the rock is an old quarried rock face. To the N is a rock outcrop and a prominent cone-shaped hill behind it. To the S, the gentle slope gives way to a much steeper gradient which runs down to a boundary wall with a burn beyond. Two standing stones are visible on the opposite of the burn on another terraced section and to the SW is a large spruce forest.
Panel Notes: The panel is covered in lichen and has a total of 43 cupmarks on its surface. Many of the cupmarks are connected by long and short grooves. There are three long grooves and one short groove running down the long axis of the panel. At least 4 of the cupmarks have short radial grooves connecting them to the long groove nearest the edge of the panel, creating a branching effect. Several of the cupmarks are aligned along a long edge and adjacent short edge of the panel. The northern end of the slab protrudes above the ground while the southern side slopes away into the grass.
