Activities

Note (13 January 2021)

A decoy control bunker is visible on 25cm vertical aerial photography c208m NE of Bridgefield House. It appears to be the control bunker for a airfield decoy site. Pillbox Study group state that this was the decoy for Peterhead airfield.

This generating bunker, appears to be of the Drem Q design, provided power for lights representing those of an active airfield. The decoy airfield would probably have been laid out in St Fergus Moss, to the N of the bunker.
