Project (July 2017 - November 2017)

NJ 43278 49953 to NJ 32994 31119 (Works route) A watching brief and walk over survey was carried out during work along a grid connection route from Dorenell Wind Farm to Blackhillock Substation, including two assembly yards. Two sites, Craigy Stripe Linear bank (NJ33NW 19) and North Whiteley Cairn (NJ44NW 6), were demarcated and preserved in situ. A possible feature was identified and demarcated at NJ 33389 35624.

Watching Brief (July 2017)

NJ 43294 45647 and NJ 34931 37198 Archaeological mitigation work has been carried out on the grid connection route from Dorenell Wind Farm to Blackhillock Substation, Moray. Watching briefs were undertaken on two assembly yards. No archaeological deposits or remains were identified.
