Field Visit (1999)
An overgrown mound lies 40m from the coast edge, on the landward side of the sheep dyke. It measures 30m in diameter and stands to 2.5m in height. The centre of the mound is slightly dished, suggesting that it was dug into in the past. A drystone wall crosses over the mound. There are other smaller and more amorphous rises in the area which may also be of artificial origin. Ref.: RCAHMS (1980), #98.

Orkney Smr Note
An irregular mound on hillside, grass-and-nettle-covered,
some stonework showing immediately S of the stone dyke which runs
across it, probably an old settlement mound or farmstead site.
