Activities

Field Visit (30 March 2019)

All that remains of this building is a length of grass-grown concrete walling. It emerges from a sand dune immediately N of the tarmac track that leads SE from the U1456 public road to the foreshore. The visible fragment measures 1.4m long and 0.25m high. It may mark the gable end of a building that is depicted on an aerial photograph (CPE/Scot/UK/0293 SFFO 0045) flown on 17 September 1947.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK, KLG), 30 March 2019.
