Activities

Archaeological Evaluation (5 January 2008)

An archaeological evaluation was carried out in December 2007 by Glasgow University Archaeological Research Division (GUARD) on a proposed dwelling site at Gigalum, on the Isle of Gigha. This evaluation was conducted for CP Architects on behalf of Miss M. MacSporran. Seven trenches were excavated by machine to the level of the natural subsoil, which was then cleaned by hand. No archaeological features or deposits were encountered during the course of the evaluation.
