Desk Based Assessment
NM 86266 42725 This farmstead shown on 1st Edition OS
map (Argyllshire and Buteshire LXXII.7 of 1891 surveyed
1870) as consisting of three roofed buildings with two small
enclosures. The 2nd Edition OS map of 1900 (Argyllshire
sheet LXXII.7 revised 1897) shows two roofed buildings,
one consisting of two compartments aligned NE/SW with a
garden on its NW side and an unroofed building. It is shown
as unroofed on the OS map of 1975 (1:10,000) The current
OS map shows three unroofed buildings, two of which have
two compartments.
