Field Visit (25 February 2008)
As part of an environmental impact assessment, a specialist report on the potential archaeological and cultural heritage issues was commissioned by SCOTRENEWABLES (Wind Power) Ltd on behalf of the Highlands and Islands Community Energy Company (HICEC) in respect of a proposed scheme to construct a community wind turbine at land to the NE of Sandybank farm, Eday, Orkney.
The walkover survey was undertaken on 25th Feb 2008 in dull overcast conditions with light rain at times.
