Archaeological Evaluation (10 August 2015)
AOC Archaeology was engaged by CgMS Consulting, on behalf of Barratt West Scotland Ltd, to undertake an archaeological evaluation at a development site in Hillman Road, Paisley, which was a condition on the planning application for the development by Renfrewshire Council. A total of four evaluation trenches were excavated, totalling 250.2m2, consisting of 8% of the total development area. No significant archaeological remains were noted during the evaluation and no further archaeological works are recommended on the development site.
