(NO 7035 5427) Dunninald Castle is on the site of the 17th century mansion of the Erskines of Dun.

The second castle of Dunninald (Black Jack Castle - NO75SW 1 - was the first) was built about the end of the 17th century and is now a ruin in the grounds of the present castle.
