Activities

Desk Based Assessment (18 March 2019 - 1 April 2019)

The asset consists of the former location of Thrushbush Pit, annotated on the Ordnance Survey map of 1859. The mine was located along the Thrushbush Incline, which would have benefited the asset for transporting quarried materials on to where they were most needed. The mine is no longer in use by the time of the Ordnance Survey map of 1897.
