The Tomintoul and Glenlivet Discovery Centre (formerly Tomintoul Museum) stands on the North West side of The Square. It was constructed early in the 20th Century and formerly housed a Co-op and became the Museum around 1980. The principal building is two-storied with single storey extension and boiler house to the south-west.
