Description A track is marked at this location on the 1:10,560 OS maps of 1863 (Selkirkshire Sheet XX) and 1900 (Selkirkshire Sheets XVII & XX) and on modern 1:25,000 OS mapping.
The track leading up Nether Hill was identified during walkover survey by AOC Archaeology in December 2009. The track ran in a zig zag down the hill from NT 20358 11431 to NT 20324 11285 to NT 20264
