Metal Detector Find (24 July 2017)

NN 80007 04219 A metal detector survey was undertaken, on 24 July 2017, in advance of proposed development on land SE of Glassingall House, within the area demarcated as the Battle of Sheriffmuir 1715. The survey produced a number of items, including a button, a modern cartridge shell and numerous items of farm equipment, but no finds associated with the Battle of Sheriffmuir.
