Metal Detector Find (2016)

NT 55 34 A Roman Iron Age teardrop-shaped button and loop strap fastener was found during metal detecting to the E of Melrose, its central boss bearing a simple enamelled design obscured by corrosion. Length 39mm.

Claimed as Treasure Trove (TT 99/16) and allocated to the Trimontium Trust
