Field Visit (19 January 2017)
NH 31912 30060 – NH 32986 31555 A desk-based assessment and walkover survey were undertaken, 19 January 2017, along the proposed route of an electricity line along the River Affric near Fasnakyle. The footings of two shielings were noted. Feature 11, measured 3 x 4.5m, was located above and to the N side of a small stream, was highly tumbled and outwith the proposed development area at NH 30936 29026. Feature 12, measured 3.6 x 4.1m, had two rough stone courses on the N and E sides, and was located next to a flat area of grass.
