Archaeology Notes

HY74SE 10 c. 760 435.

Two stone balls, one of them broken, found at Lopness (HY 75 43), were donated to National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) by David Balfour of Balfour and Trenabie in 1863. They probably came from the collection of Dr Wood (early 19th century).

Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1865 (Donations).
