Standing Building Recording (25 January 2017)
AOC Archaeology Group was commissioned by Montagu Evans on behalf of SGN to undertake three basic level historic buildings surveys of redundant gasholders in advance of their decommissioning and demolition. The gasholder at Craigward, Alloa was built in the 1950s as the last of a sucessive line of gasholders associated with the adjacent gasworks dating back to the mid-19th century.
