Activities

Field Visit (15 May 2017 - 28 July 2017)

Scotland’s Urban Past, a community engagement project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and led by Historic Environment Scotland worked with HES experts, local community group Archaeology Shetland to survey and record Second World War defences in and around the town of Lerwick, Shetland. Training provided to the group covered, field survey and photography, plane table survey, Urban Detectives and QGIS.
