Thomas Miln Ltd, Baltic Factory. Reed and Heddle Manufacturer: the metal strips used to separate each warp yarn in weaving and dating from c.1890-1900. Miln is first listed in The Dundee Directory 1902-03 under 'Reed and Camb Makers'. The location for the works was chosen to take advantage of a spur of the Dundee & Newtyle Railway built to serve industries.
This building and land has been bought by a developer.
